Anonymity / Privacy
Q. I don´t want everyone who likes my profile to know all about me. How do I remain anonymous?
A. Forever Young Club provides you with an e-mail inbox that only other forever Young Club members can use.
So, unless you provide other members with other details about yourself they will only be able to view the information on your profile. This doesn´t include any of your contact details such as non-Forever Young Club e-mails, phone numbers, first name, surname or your date of birth.
Q. I want to see other people's profiles but keep mine hidden for awhile � can this be done?
A. You will still have to register as a standard member to have a look around the site but you can choose to keep your profile 'hidden'. There is an option at the bottom of your 'My Account' that allows your profile to be visible or hidden. You can choose to hide your profile once your profile has been approved by the Forever Young Club team.
E-mails and Flirts
Q. Where do I receive emails from other members?
A. All emails from other members are sent to your Forever Young Club mail inbox. However, you will be alerted by Forever Young Club to your registered email address when an email is sent to you by another member. To read your emails you simply click on the link in the email which will send you to the Forever Young Club website to login.
Q. How do I stop someone from emailing me?
A. If you receive unwanted e-mails from another member, you can ´block´ the sender by selecting the ´block sender´ check box in your mail inbox.
If you decide you would like to receive e-mails from a member you have previously blocked you can ´Manage the block list´ in the ´My Account´ section of your member home page.
Q. When can I email other members?
A. The fun will start once you have joined as a Forever Young Club Premium Member. You can send ´flirts´ to other members you are interested in or e-mail people with like-minded interests or hobbies.
Q. I´d like to keep a record of all the e-mails I receive and send, can I do this?
A. Yes, all sent and received e-mails are stored in ´My mailbox´
Q. I have received a ´flirt´, what does this mean?
A. Congratulations! This means someone has viewed your profile and is interested in getting to know more about you.
Q. I have found a member I would like to know more about, how can I let them know?
A. Sending a ´Flirt´ is a great way to let other members know you are interested in learning more about them. Just click on the heart icon on the right hand side of the profile and wait for their reply. Good luck!
Logging In
Q. How do I login to my Forever Young Club account?
A. You can login to your Forever Young Club account by typing your username and password in the login section on the home page.
Tip: If you forget your username or password then you can have it resent by clicking on the 'resend password' link under the login box. Enter the e-mail address you registered with and we will send you the details you require.

Q. What is ´Remember Me´?
A. Forever Young Club´s ´Remember Me´ feature allows us to recognize you each time you visit the site, eliminating the need to request your username and password with each visit.
Q. How do I turn the ´Remember Me´ function on / off?
A. You can turn on / off the ´Remember Me´ function by selecting or deselecting the ´Remember Me´ check box on the home page.
Q. If other people use my computer, what should I know about auto sign in?
A. If you share your computer with other people and you have selected the ´Remember Me´ check box, be aware others could use the feature to access your account.

Q. How do I change my password?
A. You can change your password at anytime by clicking on the ´My Account´ link at the top of every page and selecting the ´Amend Registration´ option.
Q. How can I amend my profile?
A. It´s easy. If you would like to amend your profile (perhaps you have taken up a new hobby) just click on the ´My Account´ link at the top of every page and select ´Amend Profile´.
Uploading photos to your profile
Q. Why should I post a photo to my profile?
A. User statistics show that members with photos receive up to 16 times more attention than those without a photo.
In fact, 40% of members will ´send a flirt´ only after viewing a profile with a picture!
Make a great first impression using these tips:
- Use an image of what you usually look like, not all dressed up
- Most people like to view nice headshot with a smile � a cheerful expression is most appealing
- Use a recent image � a photo taken within the last six months is best
- Try not to use photos where you are wearing a hat, sunglasses or any other accessories that detract from your features
- Use a bright, bold resolution - make sure your photo isn´t dark or blurry
Q. How do I add a photo to my profile?
A. You add a photo to your profile at any time by entering the ´Amend Profile´ section of ´My Account´. Simply click on ´Main picture´ and browse to find where your photo is stored on your computer and press submit. Once approved, your photos will be posted on your profile exactly as they are submitted. Be sure to crop your photo if necessary before uploading it. Please allow 24 hours for your profile to appear on your profile.
Q. I can´t decide on one photo to add to my profile, can I upload more than one?
A. You can add up to four photos, one video file and one audio file. Click on the ´Add Media´ button in ´My Account´ and you can upload photo, video or audio files directly from your computer.
Chat Room
Have a look at our improved chat rooms with where we have just added a few handy features such as emoticons, voice and video messaging. Chat live now with other Forever Young Club members!
Q. How does instant messaging (IM) work?
A. Forever Young Club has recently upgraded the chat room facility so Premium members can actually talk to and see who they are talking to. There is a requirement that the Premium member's computer system is audio and video enabled. This technology also allows Premium members to type in their messages and send private messages to another member who is logged-in to the chat room in real time. This chat-room supersedes the original instant messaging (IM) function.
Q. How do I start using the Chat Room?
A. Please note - you need to be a Premium Member to access the Chat Room.
- Once logged into the site as a Premium Member, go to the User Menu on the left of your member home page and click on "Chat Room".
(Tip: Your member home page is the first page you see with all the image icons and links to different functionality after you login to the site) - Wait for the chatroom to load.
- Once it is finished loading, you can immediately start chatting with other members by typing into the text field found on the upper right hand box of the chat window.
- Start by introducing yourself and your conversations will appear in the chat window where other members can join in on the discussion.
Q. How do I see who else is in the room?
A. The upper left hand box shows users who are in the same room as you. Click on their usernames to view their profile and find out more about them.
Q. How can I chat with another member privately away from the chatrooms?
A. We have now added a new private messaging feature where you and your new friend can now talk to each other in privacy. Create another chat room simply by clicking �New Room� (found on the top bar of the chat window) and chat in the privacy of your own virtual room.
Q. How can I personalize the look of the messages I send out?
A. You can now make your chat messages playful by using different font styles and colors and adding emoticons. Emoticons are a great way to convey the way you feel with funny little icons and such. Both you and your contact will see these changes in your conversation areas.
Q. Where can I find out more about a member I meet in a chat room?
A. View a brief profile of the person you are chatting with by clicking on their username and their details will appear on the bottom half of the page.
Q. Can I talk to another member in live settings?
A. Yes, we have enabled audio and video chat to allow members to chat live over voice messaging or webcams. If you have a microphone, webcam and speakers, you can start talking to other people from Forever Young at no extra charge!
Q. What if no-one else is live online when I log in?
A. Depending on the time of day, there can be many or no other people logged on live at Forever Young Club. Our statistics show several hundred individuals are currently visiting our site daily - but they may only log in briefly to check out the news or see who is new to the site and then log-off. Forever Young Club has the capacity for Premium Members to chat online live with other members but we suggest you search our database for people you would like to meet first. Once you sent them an email through the site - you can then invite them online live at a time to suit you both.

Q. I´ve had a look around the site and now I would like to join. What do I do?
A. You can join Forever Young Club for free by clicking on ´Register Now´ or ´Join Us´ on the home page.
Tip: Enter your e-mail address carefully as your password is automatically sent to this address. If you make a mistake, you will not receive your password.
Once we have received your registration we will review the content before publishing your profile to our site. This process can take up to 24 hours. This will allow other members to view your profile and contact you.

Q. I would like to start e-mailing other members, how do I become a Premium Member?
In order to email other members you need to be a Premium member. To do so, just register here and you will be made a Premium member for free following our approval of your profile.
Q. How much does it cost to become a member?
A. Joining Forever Young Club is free. Once you have joined, you can upload your profile and search for other member profiles and photos.
Q. Why am I not receiving my weekly FYC Match Report?
A. Once you have registered as a member, to receive the FYC Match Report you need to:
- Click on "My Search" on your "My home" page
- This will take you to the page titled "Member Search"
- Ensure you have ticked the checkbox next to "Click box to save this search for match-mail"
- Choose whether you are seeking a woman, man or couple for your search criteria
- Fill out the remainder of the fields according the sort of criteria you want to receive matches on
- Click on the yellow "Search" button
- A search is now conducted for other members based on the criteria you have selected
- This search criteria is now used to send you matches of other members within the weekly FYC Match Report!
Searching
Q. How do I search for members?
A: There are several criteria upon which you can search. These include the member's, country of residence, the state they live in, the particular suburb, body type, sex and whether the profile includes a photo. If you are a male seeking a female then search for 'Men seeking Women'. If you wish to see only profiles with photos the tick the 'Photo Ads Only' box. You can quickly move through the regions box by pressing the '-' (dash) on your keyboard. If you wish to find an individual member, you may type their username directly into the 'Username' text box at the bottom of the search criteria page and click search.
Q. Can I keep a list of my ´favourite´ Forever Young Club members?
A. Yes you can. When you do a search, if you view a profile you like, click on the ´Add to Favourites´ button (it looks like a circle with a star cut out).
You can access your Favourites at anytime by clicking on ´My Hot List´ at the top of the search page.
Q. Does Forever Young Club have same-sex matching?
A. Absolutely. When you create your profile, there is one field asking if you´re a man or woman, and
another field asking if you´re looking for a man or woman. Just fill in the appropriate fields.
We also have the option for couples looking for singles or couples looking for couples!
Q. Who´s looking at me? I´m interested to find out who has viewed my profile, is this possible?
A. Of course. Go to your member´s home page and click on the ´Encounters´ link on the left hand side. This will show you a list of members who have viewed your profile. You can click on the names to view their profiles too.

Safety Tips for Meeting People Offline and Online
While the internet is mostly a safe place, there are similar traps and pitfalls you may encounter in real life. We believe the bulk of Forever Young Club members are genuine folk seeking friendship, yet there may still be a handful who choose to do the wrong thing and misuse the purpose of the site.Though Forever Young Club might not be able to completely eliminate the threat of dishonesty, members can take preventive steps by simply being aware of a few tell-tale signs we have listed below.
Watch out for inconsistencies.
For example, it could be broken English when the person claims to be a native English speaker, or a phone number or email address that doesn\'t coincide with where the person claims to live.
Coming on strong?
Be careful of anyone who comes on too strongly or who rapidly and repeatedly tries to get you to communicate with them outside of Forever Young Club.
Asking for money?
Be careful if anyone asks you to send them money so that they can come visit you - this is another common scam. Often you will send the money and never hear from the person again.
Ask Questions!
This is very important. If someone is only interested in learning about you there may be something wrong. Make sure they are willing to answer your questions as well, and always check that their answers are consistent.
Don�t reveal personal details!
We strongly discourage members against revealing personal details through the site. Never include your last name, email address, home address, phone number, place of work or any other identifying information in your online profile or first correspondence with someone.
Request photos.
See if you can view a few photos of someone. If you only get excuses as to why you can\'t see a photo, consider that he or she has something to hide.
Chat on the phone or use the audio / video capabilities on the FYC chat room.
If you do chat on the phone, do not reveal your personal phone number to a stranger. Try a mobile phone number instead or use local telephone blocking techniques to prevent your phone number from appearing in a Caller ID.
Meeting up for the first time?
It is important to employ common sense when going on a date. Go to a public place where there is constant human traffic and let a friend or relative know beforehand where you will be and the time you expect to be home. Carry a mobile phone at all times.
If things get tricky?
If you are in any way uncomfortable at a meeting, use your best judgment and excuse yourself long enough to: call a friend for advice, ask someone else on the scene for help or just leave. Never worry or feel embarrassed about your reaction. Your safety is much more important than one person�s opinion of you.
